Meeting Clients Where They’re At

Meeting clients where they’re at is what good coaching is all about.

Betsy is post-knee surgery, so instead of forcing traditional step-ups, we’re using split squats with a mini BOSU to challenge her ankle and knee stability, control, and confidence in a way that works better for her right now.

Because good coaching isn’t about handing everyone the exact same workout and expecting the exact same result. It’s about paying attention to the person in front of you and understanding what they need right now.

Sometimes that means modifying an exercise. Sometimes it means choosing a completely different movement that works toward the same goal. And sometimes it means slowing things down so someone can build the stability, control, and confidence they need to keep moving forward.

The goal isn’t to make everyone do the same exercise. It’s to find the right exercise for the person in front of you.

Progress looks different for everyone, and that’s okay!
