The Next Chapter for Get Fit NH
There simply isn’t enough space on social media to share all of the feelings I have around this transition.
There are so many mixed emotions.
I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built. I’m excited for what’s ahead. I’m emotional about closing a chapter that has been such a massive part of my life. And more than anything, I’m so damn proud of Adam.
When I think about who could possibly take the reins at Get Fit NH, it has always been him.
Fun fact: I literally named Adam in my will as the person who would take over Get Fit NH if I croak.
Even through the last four years, while he stepped away and built an incredibly successful online business of his own, that never changed.
So when he approached me a few months ago about buying Get Fit NH, I felt an overwhelming sense of relief.
Like… maybe this was my opportunity to finally spread my wings a little.
So, What's Next?
A lot of people have asked me, “So what’s next?”
The honest answer?
I have absolutely no idea.
I don’t know adult life without Get Fit NH.
I don’t know what it feels like to not be the boss.
I don’t know what it feels like to live without that constant background noise of responsibility, scarcity, worry, payroll, decisions, and knowing that ultimately everything stops with me.
But I’m really excited to find out.
I’m excited to figure out who I am outside of Get Fit NH.
I’m excited for a little more freedom.
I’m excited to be a better mom. A better partner. To be more present. To have some space in my brain for whatever comes next.
And I’m incredibly excited to watch Adam take everything we’ve built and make it his own.
Here's to the Next Chapter
I could write here forever, but the best way to understand what this place, these people, and this transition mean to me is to hear it.
So turn the sound up and take a few minutes to listen to the heartfelt speech I shared with our clients this weekend.
Here’s to the next chapter for Get Fit NH, for Adam Gray, and for me.
And also…
If you’re hiring, holla at your girl.
Because apparently I’m just a few months away from being unemployed.
