There Is Something Different About Training Next to Someone
There is something different about training next to someone.
You work a little harder.
You laugh a little more.
You complain together.
That feels so validating, and somehow the workout that looked absolutely terrible on the board becomes a lot more fun.
One of my favorite things about group personal training is that you get the benefits of intentional coaching and programming while also getting something you simply cannot replicate training alone.
People.
Lately, we have been incorporating more partner work into our programming, and I absolutely love what it does to the room.
It does not have to mean competing. Sometimes it is simply one person working while the other rests.
Sometimes you are sharing equipment. Sometimes your partner counts your reps or reminds you you have more in the tank.
And sometimes you are both staring at each other, wondering whose idea this workout was.
The Benefits of Group Personal Training Go Beyond Strength
There is power in being surrounded by people who are doing hard things alongside you.
People encourage you when things get tough, celebrate your progress, and help you show up even on days when motivation is low.
That is one of the things that makes group personal training so valuable. You get coaching and programming designed to help you get stronger, plus the friendships, accountability, and community that make showing up something you look forward to.
Expect us to offer more opportunities like this.
Fitness should make you stronger, but it can also build friendships, accountability, confidence, and community.
Those things are pretty powerful too, especially as the days get shorter, darker, and colder!
